Good morning, and what a beautiful one it is too. Typical, yesterday - bank holiday Sunday and the weather was awful! Today, I have to go to work so it is just typical that its so nice!
So, the weekend has been quite eventful one must say. Saturday saw me at The Pasta and Pizza Bar on the Barbican with my family for my cousin's sort of hen day which was good fun. Reminiscing with the family about what we were like as children and swapping funny stories....was brilliant and then headed back to my Auntie's for more drinks....home by 9 and in bed by ten with a serious headache after drinking far too much wine and champagne!
Yesterday, seen me spend the afternoon drinking with my father seeing the lovely Jokerboys play here at Kitty O'Hanlons where they were supposed to be playing outside on the forecourt but the weather was not on our side so we were crammed into the pub like sardines but what a brill couple hours we had in there. The Joker boys are on the search for a new bass player as the current one, Dave is emigrating to Australia...the band just wont be the same without him. So Nat, you'll have to look out for him and if by some chance you meet him, get him to play you a song!!
Now, had a blast from the past whilst in the pub...(I started seeing a guy last year but it never worked out as he had just split from his girlfriend back then) well he was in there, funnily enough meeting a friend of mine who was also with me and my dad, it was so good to see him and he ended up staying with us for the evening. So, when the Joker boys had finished their gig, off we went on a pub crawl round the barby in the pissing down rain and almost gail force winds! Later that evening we went to see the lovely Christiano play in a wonderful chavvy pub where you could sit and people watch til your hearts content!
Then off we went home, singing and slurring our words and trying to make sense of each other....fabulous! What a night!

Will look out for the Joker... though it's a big country! Prob won't recognise a blighter with sunnies on!
It's a bank holiday here too. My manager 'thoughtfully' rostered me on for the weekend when Dave wasn't working and rostered me off on Monday when he WAS working!
Cue much dishwashing, clothes washing and general sweeping (ie; watching re-runs of Friends) all day tomorrow!
